TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not included in our rates, but we are happy to provide information, offer guidance, and help coordinate ground transportation. Please let us know if you have questions.
FLIGHTS
The closest airport is in Preveza (about 50km), and there are several airlines that fly into there. These include: EasyJet, Monarch, Thomas Cook, Thomson, Germania, Danish Air Transport, AirBaltic, AirBerlin, Transavia, and SkyExpress. The majority of flights arrive and depart Preveza on Sundays. You can also fly into Athens, and take an approximately 5-hour bus ride to Lefkada, and then take a 45-minute local bus (K-Tel) to Vassiliki.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
From the airport at Preveza, it is about an hour drive to Vassiliki. There are several options for ground transportation from the airport to Vassiliki. These include renting a car for the length of your stay, taking a public bus, or taking a taxi. Once we have everyone’s arrival and departure information, we are happy to assist with coordinating ground transportation. When possible, we will try to coordinate shared rides to reduce the cost.
GETTING AROUND VASS
Once you are in Vassiliki, all wind/water clubs, grocery stores, shops, restaurants, etc. are within a 5-15 minute walking distance of our accommodations. However, there are local car, motorbike, and bicycle rentals for short or long-term, as well as, a public bus system in the region. We are happy to help coordinate rentals as needed.
COMMUNITY MEALS
We will have a traditional Greek Welcome Meal on site at the beginning of each 2-week segment.
In addition, we will coordinate (optional) community dinners several times each week at various restaurants in the village.
MEALS ON YOUR OWN
We have negotiated discounts for our customers at numerous restaurants in the village, and you can take advantage of these discounts throughout your stay.
There is a large BBQ and covered outdoor communal space where meals can be shared.
Breakfast and lunch will be on your own to allow flexibility for different activities and work schedules during the day.
You can also choose to cook in as all rooms have a mini refrigerator and electric hobs for cooking.

ACTIVITIES
Vassiliki is known for having great winds for windsurfing and sailing! All activities are optional. You can pick and choose from the activities below as desired. All activities with third parties are subject to availability.
WIFI
Our accommodations have four separate networks shared amongst 15 rooms. There is a very good signal inside all rooms, as well as, the pool and BBQ areas. The island has ADSL 24 mbps, but the actual speed received in town is 17 mbps. We have conducted speed tests at the studios, and have consistently recorded download speeds of 14 – 17 mbps.
ON-SITE WORK SPACE
Each room has a private patio with a table and chairs. These can easily be brought into the room if you want an indoor work space. There is a covered outdoor communal area with table and chairs near the pool area. Overall, the setting is quiet and lovely. There are many shaded areas that are ideal for working and collaborating.
Power strips, extension cords, and a printer/scanner are available.
OFF-SITE WORK SPACE
In addition, there are many restaurants and cafés in the village which are only a 5-10 minute walk away. Many of the cafés have comfortable seating and strong WiFi signals. We have done speed tests at multiple cafés and restaurants, and can recommend the best locations for you. We have negotiated discounts at numerous café’s and restaurants for our customers as well.
COWORKING
Our guests bring different skills and experiences to the Co-Retreat, and serve as valuable resources for one another. Throughout the two-week session, we will coordinate group meals, and you will have opportunities to share about your projects, goals, struggles, etc. Coworking happens flexibly and organically. For example, small groups may decide to sit poolside and chat, meet at off-site locations, go for walks together to brainstorm ideas, etc. You will have the freedom to choose when to work on your own, when to collaborate and network with your peers, and when to enjoy outdoor and social activities. If individuals or groups have specific needs or interests, we are happy to facilitate small and whole group sessions to meet your needs. We hope that the connections you make at Co-Retreats will continue beyond your stay!

FEATURES
Accommodations will be at a newly-renovated complex of studio apartments in Vassiliki.

STUDIOS
Each studio includes a private bathroom, flat screen TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, and electric hobs for cooking. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed every three days, and bed linens every four days.
In addition, studios with a kitchenette include cupboards, dishware, counter space, sink. (This is in addition to the refrigerator and electric hobs in all rooms.)
LOCATION
Our accommodations are located 100m from the local beach, 150m from the bus stop, 250m from the centre of the village, 50m from the nearest super market.
Within walking distance (50m to 400m) there are restaurants & tavernas, bakery & coffee shops, petrol station, as well as a pharmacy, post office, and the local medical center.

Vassiliki, Greece is world-renowned for its windsurfing and sailing opportunities! In addition, there is scuba diving, stand up paddle boarding, mountain biking, yoga, and more. Vassiliki is on the island of Lefkada in the northwestern region of Greece. It is a beautiful island with gorgeous beaches, old olive groves, historical sites, and quaint villages.
Shared rooms are two person occupancy. Rates are subject to change. Subject to availability.
*Note: In some of these rooms, two single beds may have been combined to create a double bed. The owner has handmade very nice cushions that comfortably fill in the slight gap between the two single mattresses, so that it functions like one double mattress.
Should you proceed with booking, a 30% deposit is required at that time. The remaining 70% balance is due by 7 April, 2017. If the booking is made after 7 April, 2017, the full balance will be due upon booking. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments can be made using PayPal, TransferWise, GlobalWebPay, or other online payment methods.
EXCURSIONS
Co-Retreats will coordinate optional half and one-day excursions during your stay as well. Based on group and individual interests, we will coordinate excursions to suit your interests. Options include: snorkeling and dolphin watching tours, wineries, villages, monasteries, waterfall, beaches, ATV tours, lighthouse, ruins, river SUPing, and more.
If you have something in particular that you would like to do, please let us know and we can help to coordinate it. Because of our connections with locals in this area, we are often able to negotiate discounts (activities, food, etc.) for our guests.
